EU Erasmus Green Urban Environments Sustainable City Design Competition by Hong Kong Baptist University
I participated in the global city design competition through my entry by the Goethe institute of India as a German speaking candidate representing India.
I was teamed with other students across India. We spent a month discussing sustainable designs about our own cities with our teams from around the world over the Moodle interactive learning platform. We had weekly meetings with Mr. Brant Knutzen, a lecturer at university of Hong Kong.
Based on our discussion and research, we created a design for a sustainable city covering all aspects such as planning, water supply, sanitation, education and green spaces. I led the urban planning section of the presentation and mapped the city down to 5 square kilometers accuracy.
We presented the city design at a final summit attended by dignitaries from Erasmus, Goethe, and HKBU. We won the Innovation award (75 Euros for each team member) for our work. Our presentation was uploaded by the summit and can be found here. This is our introduction- https://youtu.be/hjOlXoV8qPY
