Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is Government of India’s flagship initiative to create and promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across the length and breadth of our country.
As part of this mission, a lab of technology equipment was set up at my school as well, with I being one of the founding student members of the school’s Innovation club. I was involved in setting up the room with decorations and also inviting more students to join.
Our school also pioneered a technology festival- a 2-day event for underprivileged children to gain guided access to the technology they would not otherwise have access to.
I was part of the organizing team for this festival, where I took charge of guest felicitation and technology display. I also undertook the session on “social entrepreneurship through technology” personally, teaching a group of around 50 students from 5 public schools about business model formulation and how to solve social issues through technology. In order to display the same, I showcased my work with Farm+ through a live prototype.
