I am the Founder and President of the Economics, Finance and Business society of my school.
The club was created after weeks of campaigning and concept building with teachers, school administration and interested students.
I oversee weekly meetings of the club which now has over 40 students from middle school and 2 other high school mentors. I take charge of teaching the business section of the club. This entails designing the curriculum with guidance from teachers, preparing slides, and brainstorming interactive activities.
So far, we have covered concepts such as business model canvas, basic business valuation, elevator pitches, and pitch deck creation through activities such as class presentations, videos, case studies, and debates.
